My teaching

I have taught a number of subjects over the years. The main focus of my teaching has been methods for UX/user research and human-computer interaction as well as managing projects in agile teams.

My current module Data security and governance, explore data in modern organisations linking the uses of data, the ethical implications of that use and the legal frameworks that govern that usage. The main event of the module is a series of student-run debates on topics such as “Surveillance in the workplace increases/decreases employee motivation and productivity” and “Governments should/should not be able to access individual’s social media for security reasons”

Further reflection on teaching ethics in computing.
